The sharkies have the most versatile vehicles, capable of traveling underwater or on the surface (of course, it's nice to have a people that can live above or below water as well). Their battle tanks are just as versatile and dangerous, traveling underwater and crawling onto beachheads. In history, we did have a few tanks capable of travelling underwater under certain depths, such as the Maus Tank that was designed purposely to handle river crossings when the bridge was destroyed. In fairness, the Maus was a very expensive and very resource intensive design, but one that can work. Today, we have quite a few armored vehicles that can float. :)
